Deny it? Like "do you still beat your wife"? The thing about Karl Rove type smear campaigns is even by denying it you get into the mud with the pigs. That's why the rightwing uses these smear campaigns. If you deny it you play into their game. Did McCain or Kerry ever deny being traitors, cowards and murderers? Did Bush ever deny being arrested for cocaine, planning 9-11 or having two girls aborted in the 70's? No. Because if they deny outrageous charges they reward the smearers. The difference is, the rightwing is so dishonest they're willing to pay someone to lie in open court. Just look how dishonest they've been on the Plame affair. Bush, Rove and McClellan have all be caught red-handed in bald-faced lies.
