It's my impression that the German environmental movement is more dominated by whackos than the US one. Not that I thought that could be possible. Yes, whackos and wonnabe saviours. Last few weeks the German media have been taking account of the achievements - if any - of the recent 7 years of Schroeder reign. Mostly in agreement of the fact that Trittin, their chief environment wacko, had put his stamp in prominent placement of their legacy... Just think of that, religious tones indeed. Taro
