Jim, I know we disagree on the impact of the '97 Act, but at least call it the "John Kasich (R-OH) Tax Act". He was the author. Senator Roth (R-DE) authored the Senate version (Of Roth IRA fame).

The Act passed the House 389-43 and the Senate 92-8.

Blaming the Act for the RE bubble is one thing (we just disagree), blaming Clinton seems partisan.

Quit knocking my tax break! Instead of knocking it, why don't you just take advantage of it? It's there for any homeowner. I think it's great!

The flippers aren't using it. They don't live in the houses they flip, and they don't hold them for two years.
