Yes Bernanke should be very good for gold.

I expect gold to skyrocket the next few years regardless of who is the next Fed chairman, but a Bernanke Fed would be the most bullish possible for gold.

Still, I do not see inflation or deflation as the primary factor behind the next phase of the gold bull. To me the key factor will be the increasing realization that the global economy and dollar centric monetary system are no longer viable and must be fundamentally restructured.
