I don't agree that we fight for freedom, I think we fight for domination and the control of natural resource markets. What books do you recommend that support your position? I cannot recommend The Sorrows of Empire by Chalmers Johnson highly enough. I think it's must reading. he gives so many clear examples of how the US uses it's military and control of the IMF and the World Bank to control other countries. If we wanted peace then why would we have 12 carrier battle groups? Might is not right, it's just deadly. Bully politics will never lead to peace, it may lead to oppression and submission due to overwhelming strength. That's not the kind of world I want to live in.
