A "highly placed administration official". Cheney?

Whatever, she's protecting the first amendment.

Why do you say that? Freedom of speech is guaranteed in the first amendment, not freedom to hide criminal behavior.

She is given the opportunity to speak freely every day in her job. If she has knowledge of criminal behavior, she is not entitled to just withhold the knowledge because she wants to. I don't even see much of a connection between what she is being prosecuted for and freedom of speech.
