Bob was just repeating what others told him.

I'll take boring. In fact, my style of trading is very boring. It is boring because I focus on consistency and consistency never gives you that rush you get from parabolic moves.

Bob, is probably one of the better people on CNBC.

Waiting on the inventory numbers.

Bob was reporting that the old time traders were saying that Energy and Utilities were traditionally boring. The way it was said seemed to infer that it was what traders were saying today, however, that would not be correct.
