I know of a woman who recently had triplets. She is just getting the hospital bill and just for one of the babies it is over $350,000! The combined bill for the mother and babies may well end up over a million...and no there was nothing that normal triplets would not go through...no infant surgeries, no fancy stuff. But the babies were premature and needed some care and the mother had to stay in hospital for a month or two.

I thought it was 18% of GDP, while most other "civilized" are around 7-10%.

Correcting for those 30-40 millions, and those youthful
gamblers (male, not female, as females have this costly
indoor plumbing system already, costly especially when, young)
