They want to delay (hmmm, that word sounds a lot like one of the crooks trying to help the other crooks) Lay's conviction until very close to the time Bush can pardon him with no political fall out. Probably right before Jeb's inauguration.

Yeah, Scott, what about Lay...selling phantom energy to CA. And what about Cheney's part in setting energy policy that helped Lay lay waste to CA.
