Elmer, you might have noticed that my statement that Intel might well be behind in Q1 06 is confirmed by Aceshardware who obtained information that Paxville (that will be used for Xeon MP) will be shipping at the 3.0GHz max (link below). Compare that to your statement that: At [Q1 and two '06] I don't see AMD being able to compete on any level.

BTW, Sossaman (Yonah disguised as server chip) was said to be reaching 2.3GHz when released iirc. Let's see if that will be achieved.

I'm curious too as to what frequency Dempsey will be launched. Do you happen to know?
