Interesting how much noise for such bad numbers. Trade deficit is running at around 6% of GDP and a occasional dip of $2 billion are catching the headlines.

Wonder if all the financial pundits expect the trade gap to rise to 1/3 of the GDP to start to get alarmed?

In the fine print after blasting China for their trade gap there is little attention to the trade gap with the EU which is about 10% higher from last year and close to 20% from same month in 2004
