liberals want to ban "hate speech", prosecute people for saying negative things about homosexuals, for example. And they are extremely intolerant of religious speech, even when it doesn't cross the line of separation of church and state. Liberals want to people who picket abortion clinics in jail. Liberals are more nurturing. They are more into "understanding" and getting people into therapy. Conservatives hate that. They think it is a waste of time. Conservatives are more likely to want to put people in jail even when there are no victims.
