Maybe you are not aware that processors can't be "alive and kicking" except when they're connected to and work with some kind of system? The fact that you say that you know they're "alive and kicking" whether in a lab test setup or a real system is not public information, or can you reveal your public source?

You're making a big deal out of nothing. I'm telling you silicon exists for Merom and Conroe. To be "alive and kicking" they need to respond to a clock and wiggle. Otherwise they're DOA. I'm claiming nothing more. To be "working" they have to boot up in a system as Yonah was demonstrated to do. Maybe Merom and Conroe do, maybe they don't. I'm not saying any more.

That's what I meant.
