If you're renting, been out of the country, living on a boat, a first home buyer...basically out of the housing market for a few years...

You how has all this promoted home ownership?
It's basically just transfered and concentrated wealth to a lot of people were already "rich"...

Renters are subsidizing no one but their landlords, so their landlords can pay higher taxes to Uncle Sam.
