re:France restores border controls

It's just sick we have to wait for an attack from Mexico before we might consider serious measures to control our own borders.

Tell me about it. No matter how much people complain nothing ever gets done.

"It's just sick we have to wait for an attack from Mexico before we might consider serious measures to control our own borders."

Let's put this in perspective. When you travel on the roads through Europe, at most borders you will see a checkpoint, much like the US has at the borders with Mexico and Canada. In most cases, they will be unoccupied. That won't be the case any longer in France. They might also require a check at airports and train stations. In other words, France will be doing what we have been doing for ages, no wars with Canada or Mexico required.
