"Abortion doctors are heroes!" Most are just doctors. Some ARE heroes because they had to risk their lives to safeguard the rights of humanity and to help our planet become civilized. Some of them died at the hands of insane religious people. Such compassion is indeed heroic. "What our society needs is as much abortion as possible!" I disagree. What we need is as FEW abortions as possible. We certainly need birth control--or eventually humanity must become as a beast in order to survive. However, abortion is a rather repugnant means of birth control. As to wanted pregnancies that result in terrible abnormalities...it is up to the mother consulting with her doctor as to what is best.
