Yeah sure. Nixon succeeded great in Vietnam. A real high point in our history bombing the hell out nof a small rural country which was no threat to us whatsoever and killing hundreds of thousands of people. Agent Orange and napalm were great too. Not to mention 55,000 US KIA's and 250,000 US wounded. A war every smearvet can be proud of.

Iraq could turn into the same disaster if we're not careful. Both were started based on lies and faulty assumptions.

re: Nixon actually succeeded quite well in bombing those commies " back to the stone ages" but the lack of follow up support from the US congress caused by the the liberal US press lobby, unamerican as usual - little has changed here - paved the way for the North Vietnam counter attack and layed the way open for their eventual "victory". It could all have been avoided.

LOL. We could STILL be fighting that war... with what, a million dead by now? For what?
