tejek, re:They are the primary reason why crude is up over $60 per barrel and there have been spot shortages in steel. You would think based on numbers alone they will lead in Hybrids and alternate forms of transportation. If they can come up with better ways to use coal, we should be able to follow them and reduce our own dependency on foreign energy sources as well. I can't imagine the Chinese want to be dependant on the Middle East either - they're very independent people.
