I'll bet you're on the sermon rotation at your local church.

You should be careful not to lose them to snoring fits in mid-message (especially if they got in late from a Saturday night.) What you need is a good Sunday dose of BRIMSTONE. Pound the pulpit. Don't just wake them UP, make them STAND UP.

("Kin I git a WITNESS?" "YEAH wstera!" You DA MAN wstera!!")

You'll get a bigger attendance that way, and the pastor will go nuts when he sees the plate.

This is the Internet. The Wall Street Journal has the best editorial page on earth, and they adhere to a strict STYLE. It's MISTER Winnick, MISTER Ebbers and MISTER Kerry, as much as it would be MISTER Hussein, MISTER Bin-Laden, MISTER Stalin and MISTER Hitler.

That's great, for the Wall Street Journal.

But it sucks, BIG TIME, on the Internet...

I will point out the one central error in all that.

This is NOT about the left's propagandistic "politics of personal destruction" (which, if I'm not mistaken, is a famous Goebbels-like CARVILLE-invented term.)

This is, however, a civil war. A civil war that started when you and I were in junior high school, if not earlier. The domestic enemy is not a LOYAL opposition, and has earned none of the rights of one (such as discourse.)

They were winning, until some in America DID start calling a "spade a spade" (to use your term.) Now they are TRANSPARENT, and we have almost purged them from our politics. Purging them from academia, the "arts", the professions, the judiciary, commerce, and the media, is also well under way.

"Politics of personal destruction" was a far-too-easy term that Carville and his evil pals knew would fool at least the weak-minded in the pro-American community. But-like everything ever uttered by the Clinton machine-it's CRAP.

This is about the politics of POLITICAL destruction. And a lack of ruthlessness for the first three decades of this civil war is why the domestic enemy is still around. (Blame the absence of term limits for that. Career Congressmembers are natural-born cowards.)

THAT is CHANGING, and CYBERKEN is merely an early-not an original-voice. You'll wear out your keyboard if you try to ban all the ones who are on the way...
