Units down 4% Q/Q = market share loss, right?

Doug,

CPG units down 4% Q/Q, ASPs up 6% Q/Q. CPG GMs were 59%.

I expected ASPs to go up in double digits (which would have met my somewhat optimistic target. I think the news will be great on the ASP side in Q3. AMD mentioned tightness in certain segments. I am assuming this is the sub $50 segment <g>, while AMD is building inventory (of high ASP parts). Q3 should be great.

Also, the picture of the last K7 packaged means (obviously) that all the output now is K8. The remaining K7 inventory will most likely disappear this quarter, and even this dwindling iventory will not be given away cheaply, since there is a market for replacement parts for some time.
