Thanks Zita.... The walls took a crew of 3-5 guys, 4-5 weeks, maybe a little mor. Around 30 tons of stone. This project was not a money maker....but it sure is pretty! Great client, too. Yes, that is bamboo, my client loves it. We installed a root barrier surrounding the bamboo bed, it is of a very tough plastic and it goes about 24" deep, below the runners of bamboo. That said, eventually maintenance will be necessary, as the runners will attempt to go up and over the barrier, but those are easy to slice off and control.
