Some people at Intel earn the dough while others spend it big. You obviously belong to the former and have good reason to be proud of that. Another area, where Intel has blown billions to gain albeit a large market share in PCs only: WiFi. Their solution still stinks from a technical performance perspective and probably always will. Here Intel has been much better off scooping up Atheros 2-3 years ago, when your cheap-skates (sorry...) offered $250 million only while the top brass of not yet public ATHR refused to talk unless $ 400 mil came on the table.
