Man, I've been confronted with that same line, practically word for word, by at least 5 people for merely discussing the case from AMD's perspective

Intel stooges are an extremely predictable lot. Deny everything. Admit nothing. Cover a small lie with a bigger lie. Accuse the accuser of a larger offense........never a sign of weakness.....and everything with a stiff upper lip.

An absolutely classic example of the "BIG LIE" Intel approach was the time the Feds were investigating that Intel engineer (Mike Hawash) as a possible Arab terrorist. Without hesitation, the Intel exec. offered the following explanation for Mike's travels and acquaintances.

"these charges only show that Mike was acquainted with some members of the Portland Six," and that "people sometimes bump into each other abroad."

So....this Hawash fellow travels to (of all places) China, and among a billion Chinese just happens to while there "bump into" half a dozen Arab zealots. The Feds arrested Mike the next day on just such terrorist charges. No further comments from the Intel exec.

fpg, put phud on ignore for a week and see how much your board experience improves. If enough people don't respond to his bait, he will eventually get bored and leave.
