JF, You think Bush would have won '04 without Rove, right? Hard to say. Even where I work, many people have a tendency to overanalyze and overmanage. Sometimes you need someone who can stick to a simple game plan, especially if your boss is a "simple guy" like Dubya. That's where the "genius" of Rove comes in. No "diabolical mastermind," just a guy who can rally the base of support and build from there. It's not like he has mind control powers which allow him to sell s--t as food. All IMO, of course. I know I hold the minority opinion, that people with a lot more political experience give Rove more credit than I do. But I'm sticking with my view. Tenchusatsu
