This is only the second or third time I've seen OBL quoted with any context. WH does not allow his speeches to broadcast, officially because there may be hidden messages within it for hidden sleeper cells. But I suspect they are more concerned with Americans actually figuring out the causes of this mess. Could it be that the government does not want the tapes studied for fear that they may be proven false???

I agree that the hidden message explanation lacks reasonableness. Even without the US media there are numerous ways to distribute messages. But I suspect they are more concerned with Americans actually figuring out the causes of this mess. Possibly, but I'm not sure why they can't figure it out without it. All the history is out there. It comes down whether or not the individual is able/willing to recognize the history for what it is. Not an easy task for many people. jttmab
