The very war started by a dem, next expanded wild by yet another dem but then fortunately brought to a conclusion by Nixon (a competent GOP genius), when he forced Ho Chi Minh to the negotiation table to sign the peace docs.

Yes, we are all happy that with Nixon the war finally came to an official end.

That gave the VCs 2 years of free hands to ignore and violate everything signed while rebuilding their war machine and finally move back South and finish off Saigon.
But read the book anyway.
Apart from our 10 posts on the subject its worth it.

No doubt Bush could have been benefitting a lot from good advise from Nixon now. Just sad he is gone when we could have used his experience.
