Bush will fall on his sword before he will allow Rove to be speared.

Say what you will about Bush but he does not USE his friends nor does he allow others to ABUSE his friends.

The Supreme Court will be a sideshow before Rove is forced to walk the plank.

Democrats won't trade Rove for a nomination. Come down to it, nobody outside DC and the blogs cares about Rove. In fact they'd prefer that Rove not leave right now. They want to keep harping on this until someone DOES care.

He'll have to fall on his sword so the President can get his nominee passed.
