Yeah, but that's the springboard for learning. What about this movie doesn't fit what you learned about the Battle of Cowpens, for example? Even Mel Gibson admitted to The Patriot being "a movie" instead of accurate representation of history. Movies are good for visualizing the culture and environment, perhaps not so good for factual veracity.
