I believe Vietnam with Giap and Hoh Chi Minh was a piece of cake compared to the current situation where the West fights fanatic Muslims in Iraq. In Vietnam the war was de facto won when Nixon ( a GOP...) dragged the VCs to the negotiation table and got their bogus signatures on a peace treaty. After that policing of the terms was neglected and the rest is history. In Iraq with the recent upsurge of Islamist based vermin, things are no longer that easy. But anyway, in Iraq and elsewhere, no doubt those less than average IQ primates will push it too far and thus cause the currently tolerant and democratic West to move to more violent measures against same vermin.
