We've freed a few hundred million from Communism, but enslaved many others with our rigid form of imperialistic capitalism. Many popular movements and democratic governments have fallen and been replaced with repressive regimes thanks to American economic imperialism. What good is capitalism if it relies on brute force to enforce its economic regime?

You know what my problem with the U.S. is? Why is it that other "capitialistic" countries like Sweden and Canada don't have to constantly be on an international rampage for some reason or another. These countries actually buy and sell their goods on the open market like capitalism is suppossed to work. Fair enough. But we have to go out there and conquer other lands to steal their resources like Iraq. Is that capitalism or imperialism? If its capitalism, then there's something wrong with the picture. And on top of it all, we the average Americans suffer from these policies of imperialism and militarism. Other capitalistic countries take care of their own, the U.S. barely takes care of its own country then goes off and destroys and rebuilds other countries. Utterly insane! The fact that people actual support these inane policies is doubly insane.
