John, I don't know just how accurate they are, but they are very interesting to watch. The one in Vegas was first, then came Miami, and NY is the newest. The difference in the venues give a different look at the things they are faced with to solve a crime.

If you get a chance, try NCIS on CBS. It is about the unit that does the same kind of work on any case that includes a sailor or marine. Navy Crime Investigation Service.

i never watched the show now catching up each night.

Three hours last night, if you include the network. Spent the evening flipping between the White Sox game and CSI. I got addicted about two or three months ago and have had to rearrange my life a bit.
