I combine FA w TA. Iow, if I believe the company fundies are good, then I look for a good entry point. The chart of JRCC stockcharts.com[w,a]dacayiay[pb20!b50!f][vc60][iut!Lp14,3,3!Lc20]&pref=G looks to me like $40 is a resistance level for the price. If it can clear and hold 40 that seems like a reasonable entry if you like the stock. JRCC is one that I have focused on but I need more info before I am personally ready to dip in. ITLC is my primary focus for research at present. There is actually some pretty good research done on some of the yahoo message boards for coal companies. The lack of interest in coal companies seems to keep the pumpers off the boards.
