I had a Promissory note from Arthur.. I later learned that it was only as good as the paper it was written on and as the name and heading on the paper was created only the day before with a phone call to Delaware... it was meaningless. He took all necessary steps by resigning from the Board of Realtors where he had been ethics chairperson.. etc.

Yet, knowing all these things, a retired judge said fraud was almost impossible to prove and only waste more money for me.
Oh I guess the final blow was having to pay the commission to the Realtors who had the listing. They sued me. Thought it was collusion with Aurthur.. Is this believable ?

Incidentally, he is still at large and has a rap sheet pages long. However, he is sly, slick and manages to avoid jail.

It still aggravates me along with grieving me that he took that condo from me or that I was stupid enough to have signed over the Title to it. It was only worth $ 125.000 in 1986 . Today it is worth over five hundred thousand.'

I appreciate your advice. It's too late for me now. I have fortunately become more hard nosed and wiser..
