He wanted his neighbors to believe he had WMDs. Remember, Saddam was the butthole of the neighborhood.....he didn't want countries like Iran knowing he had no weapons.........they would have been all over him like bees on honey. During the 1980s, Iran lost somewhere between 400k-1,000,000 men fighting Saddam. Take some time off ted.... Your post: 1) Saddam didn't have WMDs. 2) Saddam didn't want Iran to know he didn't have WMDs. 3) If Iran knew Saddam didn't have WMDs, they would have wiped him out. 4) Iran already tried to wipe him out and lost 400k-1000k men... I know education isn't a big deal in the red states. So I need to ask.......what grade did you drop out? It will help me to know how to present info so that you understand it.
