Argyle Security Acquisition Corp. completed its IPO on January 25, 2006, selling 3,625,000 units at $8.00 per unit. The gross proceeds totaled $29 million, down substantially from the $100 million that the company was looking to raise when it filed its initial S-1 in mid-July. There is no word yet as to whether or not the underwriter has exercised its over-allotment option. The company is going to be focusing its acquisition efforts in the security industry.

The securities are listed on the OTC Bulletin Board. The units (ARGLU.OB) are trading at $7.95 today. The common shares (ARGL.OB) and warrants (ARGLW.O) will begin trading separately at a later date.
