Trade wars don't work. Foreigners won't buy our bonds. Interest rates will go up. Yes, the dollar will go down. The cost of everything we need will go up, while the price of inflated assets will get smoked. It will be another 1930s.

This is a communist country essentially wanting to buy the 9th largest oil company in the world. China wouldn't let an American company do the same.
