A lot of Democrats stabbed America in the back during Vietnam BECAUSE, they thought, there were VOTES to be won by doing it. Kennedy took it to the next level by publicly taunting US troops in Vietnam WHILE they were fighting. Those prior-era Democrats were shown-Howard Dean-in-Iowa style, with McGovern's landslide defeat-that the left is LOUD but can't turn 'em out. They are making the same mistake today, despite the warnings of 2002 and 2004. Only attacking American troops who are FIGHTING is the common denominator, not just a big-mouth Kennedy thing. The Democrat party can't seem to remove itself from this self-destructive strategy. They are not just making a vast majority of Americans resolved to vote against them-but to ENJOY voting against them...
