The kids weren't. They were just kids, including a babe in arms.

I agree 100%

I'm pretty much a law and order type, but this incident, along with Waco, was a dark stain on our country's law enforcement.

shooting at people holding little kids makes zero sense to me...

Cops shooting at people who have been shooting at them for over three hours makes lots of sense to me.
