Steve, ouch. Right in the armor, I assume. I'm surprised that (a) the armor took it, and (b) the sniper didn't shoot for the head.

Most body armor is made by DHB and AH and usually has a soft metal alloy encased in fabric. It is estimated that US soldiers are carrying 50 lbs of extra weight when on patrol.........during 110º heat. They are able to shower maybe once or twice per month. Think about what that is doing to their physiology.

As for the sniper himself, I'll bet he now has five-star accomodations in Club Gitmo East?

Five star? Only in your Bush fantasies.
