Yes, SMU has Rush in January. One of my best friends from Palo Alto, went through, but was not happy with the Winter weather. It's amazing. So many of my high school friends were in the same house at different schools. My little sister was as well. It's just a little ironic!

Our Rush was in August, and was one of the only houses to fill quota that year. I went through as a sophomore, but there were five sophomores in my pledge class.

Maybe the maturity of waiting a year was beneficial!

It's been a few years!

You are right, that we aguish over our children and what they deal with, as opposed to our own issues, so Rush was a big deal for you! I have not been there yet.

But I am not into pushing him, as having fun and enjoying it is a bigger priority!!:)

I can still remember being all cute and clean and walking around in the sludge, snow, or ice depending on the day.

It took forever to get rid of our coats and then get them back..that wasted half our time at each house.

Which other houses did you like?
Isn't it amazing how different the sororities are at each school and really each part of the country?
