``What we are confronting is an evil ideology,'' Blair said. ``They demand the elimination of Israel, the withdrawal of all westerners from Muslim states'' and ``the establishment of a Taliban state on the way to one caliphate of all Muslim nations.''

Finally, and about time too. Bush and Blair should have been saying this for the last four years. But Bush can't craft a rhetorical line, and Blair was hobbled by his Euro-PC view of the world - surely we can just negotiate Israeli/Pal peace, then all this unpleasantness will go away. Finally he has admitted that the enemy has an ideology too. If he can take one more step and admit that Hamas and Al Aqsa have the same ideology, maybe he will stop demanding Israel to negotiate its own destruction.
