Yes I am. If you lose your crop to pests you have zero production. Is zero the same as 140 bushels per acre? It costs $50 per acre at the least to spray. Now that would be $50,000 for a guy farming 1,000 acres. You think farmers like to spend $50,000 for no gain in production?

My "anecdotal experiences" are from living 50+ years in the middle of hundreds of million acres of farm land. The Cornell "study" may be two 10 acre test plots in Ithaca, New York, now that "study" would be anecdotal. Ever think they may not have root worm, mites and aphids in that area?
