Thanks, Ted. I just spent some time surfing my usual links, starting with this one: people.howstuffworks.com and following links from there. Lots of information on body armor, especially current and emerging technologies. Tenchusatsu EDIT: My fault, the army incident report already mentioned the type of rifle used by Mr. Insurgent. It was a Dragunov Sniper Rifle, commonly used by the Soviet army back during its time. Yep, you're right, it's an old one; Google confirmed that.
