I was referring to something different, the availability of land to continue growing the economy without barriers. Continuing to building whole new communities from scratch and the multiplier effect on the economy is not possible in Japan.

The lack of land is bs in many places. However it is very real in SE Florida as an example. However in much of the rest of the state there is enough land to house 50 million more people. But putting in the infrastructure takes a lot of time, capital and labor which is a big positive for GDP.
