I guess I wasn't exactly clear as to whom I thought was the injuring party...

By Intel pressuring HP NOT to use AMD chips after AMD gave HP the first million, INTEL was harming the consumer. This pressure resulted in HP not selling 860,000 computers in which their cost was significantly lower and HP could therefore sell them at a reduced price when compared to the Intel systems... If Intel's ASP's are roughly $150, HP could have sold those systems for $100 less than the equivalent Intel model and still made $50.00 more than they would have selling the Intel model.
