There seems to be no end to the number of suicide bombers. I dont see how this terrorism will ever end until the world in unison closes down all the militant mosques, their teachers and their followers. Seems like this Wahabism is spreading worldwide, and unless its stopped in its tracks through massive violence on a world wide scale it can only become worse. An action like this cannot be done by one nation alone, not even one so powerful as the USA. ALL the nations of the world must take part. Similar to a worldwide effort to remove the smallpox. JDN

Liberalism is too slow to believe that such a thing as enemies could really exist, only, to quote Mark Steyn, friends whose grievances we haven't accomodated yet.

But I wouldn't give up hope even for Holland or Sweden. I don't think they are really suicidal, just self-deluded. The worm is turning in the Netherlands, I hope it will in Sweden too.

That's why I think Blair's "evil ideology" speech yesterday was so important. It's an ideology! They noticed!

Finally a bombing that not even the BBC can attribute to poverty and oppression. This sounds funny, but it's really not. You should hear the perplexity in the tones of the announcers on the BBC's World Service - but these were prosperous, educated young men, how could they have done it?

As if all the previous examples of prosperous suicide bombers like Mohammed Atta and 100s of other Saudis and Palestinians I could list for you had never existed. And they did not exist - not in the minds of the BBC. But now there is a crack in the liberal defenses and a fact has crept in.

Well at least for today. Maybe tomorrow they will chuck it out again, like they did with their one-day use of the word "terrorist".
