I repeat: the myth that Clinton was offered OBL by Somalia on any credible , official level is a fabrication of the Bush Republicans. Why did they make this up? Because they needed someone to blame 9-11 on. In fact 9-11 happened on Bush's watch after repeated warnings which Bush and his people did absolutely nothing about, including one on 8-6 which said BIN LAUDEN DETERMINED TO ATTACK INSIDE US. Duh. CLinton fired 300 cruise missiles at Osama and missed, so he formed a Pakistani hit team to go into Afghanistan and get him. When Bush came into powr he disbanded all Clinton counter-terror operations including the 24/7 Al Qaida desk in the WH. Bush is to blame. Not Clinton. Also, four years after 9-11, Osama still walks free. Bush promised to get him and didn't. Said in 2003 he didn't even care about Osama anymore.
