Off the record, Republicans are extremely worried now. This spin you hear from Ken Mehlman (who knows he's finished if Rove goes down, and may even be his gay lover) is just total BS. In private, they're scrambling for anything they can say or leak or fabricate that "sounds good". The line that Rove didn't out Plame because he only called her "Wilson's wife" is ridiculous. So is the line that reporters fed Rove the intel. Reporters are not privvy to CIA top secret dossiers. Bushies always do this, blame someone else for their crimes. The problem is the prosecutor and jury know the truth and are unaffected by the RNC BS.
