They have decided to base thier positions on lies and are learning that their plan is weak. Focus on good people, weed out the mediocre. Sure, to guys like AS, any democrat who knows how to tie his own tie looks smart...but we must have more from both parties...we need to make public service what it was intended to be, not careers for some losers. As was pointed out earlier, the good people do not run for office. Hopefully the parties will stop attacking each other and seek to work for a better country.
