It's all about the moderates and press being willing to stand up to, expose and take down the rightwing bullies. We are starting to see many signs of that. Mehlman's Rove defense on Friday has already blown up in his face so expect more carnage vs. Rove and the WH this coming week and every week for a long time. The bullies are starting to look like smarmy little scumbags. The bad news is the bastards are still in power and even if we could prove they swiped the 2004 election it takes a while to impeach and indict them. They won't go easily either. Like trying to take down a huge Mafia. But ironically their unfair impeachment of Clinton now works against Bush, making impeachment not as big a deal anymore. Plus nothing is out of bounds, even Jeff Gannon. The good news is that in the meanwhile almost all rightwing agenda bills be be dead in the water because the moderates will be afraid to support Bush and the right going into 2006.
